What Big Creek Restoration Did for this 40's Chevy Coupe
Working from a design concept produced by Jason Rushforth, Mike Keller and his team worked to reshape the Chevy couped. The team worked to reshape both the exterior and interior, keeping the classic design while ensuring a more modern look and feel.
ICONIC
EXTERIOR DESIGN
The front end of a Chevy coupe was nothing spectacular, so the Big Creek Restoration team reworked it to include a made-from-scratch grille surround and insert. They also added in a sectioned and pie-cut hood and reshaped front fenders. With flush-fit front and rear windows, the exterior started to take on a whole new look that older Chevy coupes couldn't showcase. You might also notice that the team flipped the rear bumpers upside-down while adding in taillights that come from a 1939 Chevy. Enhancing the look further, Mike Keller and his team painted the exterior in PPG Vibrance Cinnamon candy over copper, making it look fresh and new!
A GLIMPSE
UNDER THE BODY & HOOD
Underneath the vehicles, the team installed a Morrison chassis with air suspension for an updated driving experience. Under the hood, a powerful 480 horsepower engine keeps everything moving, and a smooth-shifting 4L80E transmission makes the transition between gears feel natural.
